How we work
We believe that every person has exceptional skills, they only need an environment where they can blossom.
We
created Paintings for a Cause to help support artists and disadvantaged and
vulnerable people in our communities. Taking a collaborative approach, it is
important for us to have a ‘hands on’ method of working directly with people.
This method provides us with three major advantages;
1. We are better able to assess the needs of those we are helping and design each project to meet those needs in alliance with the wider community and our partners.
2. We can better target our projects and get the best outcomes within the restraints of our funding.
3. We are able to offer transparency of our methods. Operating in an ethical way is the basis for Paintings for a Cause. We are guided by a moral compass that ensures fairness, respect and honesty towards our colleagues, donors and the greater community.
We finance Paintings for a Cause in three ways;
1. Partnerships: By creating Corporate and Government Partnerships and linking in with other, not for profit organisations we are able to support specialised projects specific to meet the needs of our artists, the disadvantaged and vulnerable in our communities.
2. Your direct donations: Become part of the Paintings for a Cause family. Your donation goes directly to support projects, and you can see the progress we make here and, we keep you informed. You can see what happens with your money. You can also donate your time, your ideas, or your artworks which will go to auction with all proceeds going to Paintings for a Cause.
3. Social Business: All works collected through the association will be applied to an innovative social business approach where the profits will be used to create more opportunities for more artists, and the disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our communities.
